Finally rolled out of bed this morning and headed straight up to the Wind Jammer for breakfast with the family.  We had a healthy meal, and then headed down to get ready for our day in Cozumel.

7:45
We made it off the ship and over to our tour guides, Leo and Alejandro, to check in for our adventure to Paradise Island.  We hopped on their catamaran around 9 o'clock.

9:00
0ur 45 minute boat ride out to Paradise Island was full of conversation with Alejandro.  My foolish pride was shattered a bit when he talked to us about his 2 year old son.  I'd like to take a pause from this update to expand a bit on this.  As an American kid that grew up in the suburbs, it's easy to forget that people all over the world are just like us, they have families, and are working to support those families.  I guess I've been to these port towns enough to see a lot of the locals being non-genuine with their speech.  When Alejandro talked about his son, and how he changed his life, I really wanted to tear up a bit.  I am so joyful that I can see other cultures experiencing this love that comes from a family.  It really breaks down this dumb American pride.  I sometimes think that the Lord is going to call me out of the U.S. eventually.  One can only hope, eh?

9:45
We arrived at Paradise Island.  Here, we swam in the beautiful ocean, played around on the white sandy beaches, and watched Max dig for shells.  I love that sweet little boy.  I then took an hour nap on one of the hammocks, that was half in the sun, and half under a straw hut.  WOO WOO!!!

1:00
We took the catamaran back to the ship.  On the way back, Max wanted to sit in my lap.  He quickly fell asleep on my shoulder.  Again, I love him.  Back at the ship, we sat by the pool until it was time to leave Cozumel.

Nap it like it's hot.

6:00
Met the family back down in the casinos for a bit, then headed up for dinner.  I decided to go with a salad and sushi tonight.  I thought I'd give my stomach a rest for the evening.  We have been eating some delicious food.  Just finished dinner, now I'm back in my room.  Time for some reading.

I think I'm going to take a trip to a coffee/pineapple plantation on Thursday.  WOO!!!

Good night, unless I decide to write more later.
