I was listening to the new single, "You Found Me," by The Fray. Then I stumbled upon their website, where I found people discussing their interpretation of the song. One person wrote,
At the time I was angry with God. I was confused about how he could allow certain things happen. I felt that he was very unfair. I wanted to yell at God all my thoughts and questions. I've noticed that a debate has somewhat started about "telling God off" and if He knows all. I believe there is a reason for everything and God has a plan, but we don't always understand it and we become frustrated and that's okIt's hard to think that we could ever yell at God. However, I know of scriptures that have Psalmists questioning God, and wondering when He is going to pull them out of the hole in which they are stuck. I can definitely identify with the song that The Fray wrote, because I often wonder why God does the things He does. I'm so glad though to have a God who not only promises us that He will take care of us, He actually does it. So even though my little brain, that can't comprehend what God is doing, constantly questions His work I will continue to trust Him in everything He does in my life. Here is the kicker: Even though the writer of the song is wondering, "Why'd you have to wait, where were you, where were you...." God still finds us, and it's His timing. So, if I can leave you with any encouragement...have faith that He will pull you out of the wilderness.
