I'm sitting here at my folks' house, watching my Dad "master" his Tiger Woods game on Wii. I'm so happy he got this game system, so he can play his favorite sport even when he is at home. I really had a great time with the family this year. Max got to open presents for the 1st time, which was such an amazing experience. How awesome it was to see him rip the paper from his toy truck and be so excited to just be holding the wrapping paper in his hands. He thought that was it. I could hear him saying to himself, "YESSSSSSS, WRAPPING PAPER!!!!!!!! Just what I always wanted."
I know I've said it before, but I really feel like blogging more. It will be easier now, because I have a new laptop that I feel like will be with me everywhere. I'll blog in my down time.
This Christmas' focus, which it should have been in the past has been heavily on the image of God coming down as Christ and as a human. I think of an idea that I had last year, which was rather foolish, but I was just confused. I wondered if God had removed his "Godness," if you will to become fully human. I have no doubt that Jesus has and always will be fully God. Without this coming of Christ, we would still be so lost. Without the slaughtering of the lamb, where would be? Thank you Jesus for coming as a lamb to the slaughter for my soul. I love you.
My thoughts are a little raw, and I hope there is no confusion here. Happy Christmas.
