Rain Down

Scribbled by Darrell Barnes

So the title of this blog carries 2 meanings. I was really expecting rain today, and it never happened. I was hoping to be able to be at work and just watch the rain fall. Also, I'm listening to David Crowder's "Rain Down," off of the Remedy album. What a prayer, "Rain down your love on us, rain down your grace." Imagine for a moment that you are standing out in the open and all of a sudden you are all of a sudden getting soaked by this refreshing precipitation. I like to think of God's love for us coming down from the heavens in this way. There's just a complete covering of love and grace that even if you move a little to the left or right, you will still get soaked. He sends it all, and still has plenty to bring on you. Crowder uses great imagery to really show us the true meaning of the gospel.

I can't write long, so I'll close with this: we have some amazing neighbors here at the new house. Well they live down the street, not right next door. Nels got a call to come outside and there were 2 girls that he knows standing there in the front yard with a cake. That makes me so happy.

1 good games:

Sounds like two girls I need to know.

I'm really glad the new place is working out for you. Good thoughts on this blog.
