The Best of What's Around

I've just gotta hope that one of these days some of my friends will step up and be men, instead of being the boys that they have been lately. I didn't get the memo that said, "In college, you can still be a child and do all of the childish things that you used to do." I have to step back now and let them be who they are, because I'm tired of trying to be a dad to them which is what it has felt like for the past year or so. At this point, I can only try to run with those who are stepping up and being responsible for themselves.
